As people's living standards continue to improve, they are paying more attention to the issue of food safety after solving the problem of food and clothing. Pesticide residues have become the main problem in agricultural products and food. To achieve the quality of agricultural products and food, it is necessary to use less or no chemical pesticides in the agricultural production process. Biological control technologies that do not or use less chemical pesticides include integrated control technologies combining agricultural control, biological control, physical control, etc. Among them, sticky boards for killing insects are low-cost, labor-saving, effective, and have minimal side effects as a physical control method.
Our company's research and development of sticky glue and sticky boards follows the concept of green, environmentally friendly, and pollution-free in agricultural and forestry production, promotes physical and biological control technologies, and implements protective measures to protect the beautiful environment. Sticky glue can be widely used in pollution-free control of pests in agricultural and forestry production, and this technology has the advantages of simple operation, long maintenance time, significant control effects, wind and sun resistance, no pollution, stable quality, and low cost.
Why can sticky boards kill insects? This is due to the action of sticky glue. We can feel its stickiness when we touch the sticky board with our fingers, which is the result of the combined action of the adhesive force and cohesion of the sticky glue. So how can we identify the bonding quality of sticky boards? There are usually two methods:
(1) Put the sticky board into the water for more than 2 hours and observe: the quality that dissolves in water is poor, the quality that does not dissolve in water is good, and the quality between the two is in second place.
(2) Use a razor blade to pick off the glue on the sticky board: brown or black quality is poor, milky white or transparent quality is good; the quality with a large amount of glue applied is good, and the quality with a small amount of glue applied is poor.
The commonality of adhesives is that when the adhesive exists in the form of a relatively thin film, its bonding force is large. Therefore, for the same adhesive, the thinner the coating, the greater the stickiness. It is like a rubber band. When it is very long, it is easy to stretch, but when it is short, you need to use some force to stretch it. For sticky glue, in addition to considering the adhesive force, its shelf life must also be considered. The thickness of the glue application determines the shelf life of the sticky board. Therefore, a good sticky board, like a long rubber band, has a slightly lower adhesive force but can be stretched. This is important. Many manufacturers intentionally apply a thin layer of glue to highlight the bonding force and reduce costs, which actually deceives farmer friends.
